Laura A. Sordillo is an artist who is interested in the way the properties of light interact. Stemming from her experience as a physicist, she explores how light changes color and shape. She frequently paints portraits and scenes from everyday life. Laura holds graduate degrees in physics and optics, and has published more than 60 scientific papers, as well as two books. Laura lives and works in New York City, Amagansett and Miami.
